My name is Shane Delaney, and I am a dedicated and compassionate Psychotherapist who is very passionate about making a positive difference in my clients' lives, which allows me to offer each client a real sense of hope amidst their struggles or worries. I have used my own experience of attending counselling to overcome my own issues, and I want to help you overcome your issues too. I therefore understand what the experience of struggling and suffering is like, which allows me to have a deep sense of empathy for each client’s struggles whilst working alongside a client to develop the coping techniques to ease to ease their suffering and begin to experience a sense of empowerment.

I am an advocate of the use of an integrative approach in therapy. This involves working from a range of modalities, including person-centred, psychodynamic, cognitive behavioural therapy and strengths-based therapy. I work with many clients with a range of different issues, including anxiety, low self-esteem, body image issues, and relationship issues, among many other issues.
